I had no idea the adventure my family was embarking on when we began homeschooling sixteen years ago. With my education background and classroom experience, I figured I had this thing in the bag. If I could teach a whole classroom of kids, certainly I could teach my own two, right?
The two years of miserable, expensive, exhausting trial-and-error that ensued showed me that being a teacher and being a homeschooler were two VERY different things.
They also showed me that there was a desperate need for homeschool coaching that helped parents not just figure out the trappings of homeschooling but also helped them lay a solid foundation that set them up for long-term success.
GoodSchooling was born from that experience, and since 2016 I've helped hundreds of parents launch their homeschool and unlock their true homeschooling potential.
